Clayton County Register, Thur., 14 Jun. 1934.

Earl LeRoy Beetem, who died in the CCC camp near Worthington last week Wednesday was returned to Clayton for burial in the Clayton cemetery last Saturday.

The deceased was born March 28, 1918 at Clayton, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Beetem.

Practically all of his life was spent in that community where he received his education in the local school.

His mother preceded him in death when he was but eight months old but he is survived by his father, one brother Floyd, two sisters, Mrs. James Koehn and Mrs. Clyde Fischer, besides several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

For the last five years he and his father have made their home with the brother, Floyd.
