Clayton County Register, Thur., 10 May 1934.

Word was received in Elkport Sunday of the death of Wm. Carretson, 48, a former resident of this place, at Manchester that day from pneumonia, which he had just recently contracted.

He is survived by his wife and two children, as well as his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Garretson, one brother, Cleve, and a sister, Mrs. Jess Hansel. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Elkport.
