MONONA: Hubert Miller died Monday night at Rochester, Minn., after having had an operation for goitre Saturday morning. Diabetes was the cause of his death and the weakened condition.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the Miller home and at two o'clock from the Evangelical Lutheran church. The Rev. A. Daugs officiated and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery.

Surviving him are his widow; one son, Harlan Miller, at home, and one daughter, Mrs. John (Helen) Doerring, of Luana; his aged father, William H. Miller of Monona; two sisters, Mrs. George L. Bruns and Mrs. Albert Voelzke, Sr., both of Monona; and Arno H. Miller, also of Monona.

Mr. Miller was a good father, a kind and loving husband, a good neighbor, fair and honest in his dealings with his fellow men; a faithful member of his church, and served in various positions in the community. Sympathy is extended the bereaved family.
