Clayton County Register, Thur., 29 Mar. 1934.

MONONA: Mrs. Ada Hagensick Wickersheim, 31, died Friday night. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Monday afternoon, from the Carl G. Schultz funeral home, with burial in the Clayton Center cemetery. Her infant son, only a few hours old was buried Tuesday afternoon. Surviving are the widower, Atherton S. Wickersheim, of Giard; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hagensick of Clayton Center; three brothers, Amos, Milton and Lloyd Hagensick; and her little step-daughter, Irene Wickersheim, of Giard. For many years before her marriage she was a capable nurse in the Schmidt hospital. It was in this same hospital, now the Community hospital in Postville, that her death occurred.
