Clayton County Register, Thur., 01 Feb. 1934.
The body of Fred Latteyer, better known as Ted, was found between five and six o'clock last Friday afternoon by Ed. Meyer on a hill about a mile from the Latteyer home near Motor.
The deceased had not been seen since a week ago Monday but apparently was on his way home. It is thought that he suffered a stroke or heart attack for he fell near the fence where there was no sign of a struggle. He undoubtedly died from exposure.
Coroner Leslie Oelke was notified immediately after the body was found by Ed. Meyer and services for the dead man were held last Monday afternoon.
