Clayton County Register, Thur., 11 Jan. 1934.

Littleport: This community was shocked when on Thursday noon it was learned that F. Hunter had suddenly passed away at his home here from a heart attack. He had just returned from a trip downtown and was taken ill in the creamery, where he has assisted his son, Wayne Hunter, who is buttermaker here. He was at once carried to the house and medical aid was quickly called, but nothing could be done for him. Mr. Hunter has resided in Littleport for the past four years, making his home with his son. During this time he has made many friends, who deeply regret his sudden passing. Funeral services were held at Ames Saturday afternoon, and burial was made there. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hunter and Chris Behrens were at Ames to attend the services. He was 68 years of age, and is survived by the only son, Wayne, and a number of other relatives.
