Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Dec. 1905. Monona column.

Mary Oliver was born at Monona, Ia., May 30, 1865, and died of heart failure, near Nora Springs, Ia., Nov. 26, 1905, aged 40 years, 9 months and 26 days. Miss Oliver was married at Monona, Ia., May 14, 1884, to J. A. Hefner. To this union eleven children were born, four of whom preceded her to the better world. She leaves to mourn her departure, a husband, four sons and three daughters, besides a father and mother, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held at Monona on Wednesday, and the interment was at Monona.
