Last Saturday, Sept. 9, Henry Chambers died at his home three miles southwest of town. He was a soldier during the Civil War and at the time of his death was 83 years old. Funeral services to be conducted at the house Monday afternoon by Rev. Tyrrel, of Colesburg.

Henry Chambers died at his home east of town Saturday night at the advanced age of eighty-three years. He had been in poor health for some time, the cause of his death being diabetes. He is survived by his wife and eight children, five sons and three daughters. The funeral services will be held this (Monday) afternoon.
