The remains of Mrs. Lydia Reynolds arrived in this city Tuesday noon, from Atlantic, where on Sunday previous her demise had occurred. She was forty-five years of age at the time of her death and was formerly a resident of this city. Her maiden name was Lydia Kimbal. Some years ago she moved to the above named city where she made her home until the time of her death. She was well known and highly respected in this community where she spent her young womanhood. Wednesday afternoon funeral services were held from the Highland Zion church, Rev. Moore conducting the services, where a large number of relatives and friends gathered to pay their last respects. A mother, daughter, Miss Anita Durkey, who accompanied the remains to this city; four sisters, Mrs. Ella Richards, of State Center, Mrs. Lora Savage, of Denver, Col., Mrs. Anna Gibson, of Rutland, Ill., Mrs. Lucie Probert, of Volga City; and seven brothers, Oscar, Albert, Charles, Edgar, of Highland, Oliver, of Elkader, Orvil of Denver, Col., and Roy Kimbal, of this city, and numerous relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss. Interment was made in the Highland cemetery.- Elgin Echo.
