Scholz, Roland 1905 – 1916

The community was greatly shocked Saturday morning when word was received that Roland Scholz of AltaVista had fallen off the top of the back porch Friday night and was instantly killed. This is, indeed, sad for the father for just a month ago the mother was buried. Roland was a bright, healthy little chap of eleven years. Coming so sudden and so soon after his mother’s death it seems as though Mr. Scholz has almost more than he can bear.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Oct. 1, 1905 and died Sept. 1, 1916. He is buried in the Guttenberg Cemetery in Clayton County.
