Mrs. Bassett, who has been sick for a number of years, died at her home last Wednesday. She was an earnest worker in the Congregational church. Mrs. Bassett was a kind neighbor and friend. The family alone not only mourn the loss of a kind mother, but the community a good woman. She leaves a husband and several children to mourn her death. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Congregational church by Rev. Dean, her pastor.
