The death of Mrs. C. L. Eaton, nee Lizzie Merkle, occurred at her home in Lamont, last Friday. Mrs. Eaton was well known to most of our people and was a friend to everybody, always ready to do good to all. She leaves a mother, husband and three children, the youngest child being one week old, besides the other relatives and friends to mourn the death of a dear one. Funeral services occurred at Lamont Monday and the remains were brought here for burial. A good woman has gone to her reward.
