The remains of Mrs. O. Sargent, nee Agnes Waite, of Cedar Rapids, were brought here Tuesday morning. Mrs. Sargent has only been sick a few days with pneumonia and relatives here thought her to be improving until Sunday when word came announcing her death. She was well known here, as this for a number of years was her home and her friends are found everywhere. Besides her husband and three children, she leaves her father, George Waite, and five sisters, namely: Ona Waite, Mesdames Cole, George Benson and Pet Sargent and a sister who resides at Troy, N.Y., and one brother, L. Waite. The remains were brought to the County Corners where the funeral services were conducted by Rev. DePuy, and the remains laid to rest in that cemetery. To the husband, children, father and other relatives we extend our heartfelt sympathy in this their sad hour of trouble. May her life be one for us all to follow.
