Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Feb. 1905. Strawberry Point column, noted as "to late for last week".

Barney Morris, another one of our citizens passed peacefully away Monday evening after a short illness. He leaves a wife, children and friends to mourn the loss of a kind husband, father and obliging neighbor. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. O. C. DePuy, and the remains laid to rest in our cemetery.
