The funeral of Richard Meehan was held at the Catholic Church at this place Thursday of last week. Mr. Meehan was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1816, and at an early age came to this country. He has been a respected resident of Clayton township for many years. His wife preceded him in death about 30 years ago. He is survived by one son, Patrick Meehan,, and two daughters.
