Services for Mrs. Roy (Pearl E.) Clemens, 90, of Ennoble Manor Care Center, Dubuque, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, Dubuque. Burial was in Linwood Cemetery. Friends called Sunday at the funeral home.

As a young woman Mrs. Clemens worked at the former H.B. Glover Co. for many years and then at Flexsteel Industries Inc. for many years prior to retiring.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1903, in Fountain City, Wis., daughter of Fred W. and Emma (Steyer) Sibley. She died at 11:20 a.m. Friday, July 15, 1994, at Ennoble. She married Roy Clemens on Oct. 14, 1920, in Dubuque; he died on May 16, 1987.

She was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Temple, Julie Chapter 125 Order of Eastern Star, both in Dubuque. She and Roy, her husband of 66 years, spent more than 45 summers at their cabin on the river in Guttenberg, where they were very well known.

Surviving are a nephew, John L. "Jack" (and Shirley) Sibley, of Dubuque, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
