ENNIS, ENDERS, ANDROS

Elkader Register, Thur., 21 July 1904. McGregor column.

Mrs. C. S. Ennis died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aug Andros*, at Waukesha, Wis. The remains will be brought here and the funeral held Thursday morning from the M.E. church.

Note:
-1885 IA State Census, Mendon twp. enumerates Cornelius S. Ennis, his wife Gertrude and children.
-A 1915 newspaper notice of those attending the funeral of C.S. Ennis included his children, Mrs. August Enders of Wisconsin & Wm. Ennis of Idaho. Enders is correct surname of the daughter.
-Mrs. Enders was her step-daughter
