A young man named McIver, of Turkey River, was killed Sunday by the northbound midnight train just south of Guttenberg. He was taking the place of his father as track walker between Turkey River and Guttenberg.

Note: Goshen cemetery burials record Robert McIver, 1886-1904. His inscription is on the same gravestone as Wm. Patterson
