Mrs. Chas. Brooks died Sunday after a short illness leaving a saddened husband and a little ten-months old baby boy. A few weeks ago Mrs. Brooks had the measles and before she became well and strong again, she caught a severe cold, which developed rapidly into quick consumption. She was a bright lovable young woman, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Presho, of North McGregor. Her parents and several brothers and sisters survive her. The funeral Tuesday afternoon was largely attended, Rev. D. C. Dutton officiating.
