On Tuesday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Chas. Glawe, of this place, after a lingering illness of nearly a year. Anna Junk was born Oct. 9th, 1877, in Hohendorf, Province Pommern and came to this country with her parents when four years old. She was married on Jan. 12th, 1898, at Clayton Centre, to Chas. Glawe. About three years ago they came to Elkader to live. Two little girls, the youngest ten months, are bereft of the tender care of their mother. Funeral services will be held at the family residence at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, interment at Clayton Centre. The young husband has the sympathy of all in this affliction.- Argus.
