ENDERES, ENDERS, FINKENKELLER

MRS. E. ENDERES.

On Monday evening about 8 o'clock occurred the death at Littleport of Grandma Enderes. On the 17th she was taken to the Communia cemetery for interment, the funeral being held at 1:00 o'clock. In three weeks she would have reached the age of 85 years. She was born in Germany. March 8th, 1819. At an early age she was married to Mr. Finkenkeller. In the year 1846 they came to this country, settling at St. Louis. From there they moved to Communia, where Mr. Finkenkeller died. She married Mr. E. Enderes in 1849 and remained there for two years, after which they moved on a farm in that vicinity in 1861. In 1890 they came to Littleport, making their home with their son, E. Enderes. Mrs. Enderes' husband died about thirteen years ago.

Grandma Enderes was considered one of the most popular old ladies of this vicinity. At any time she was ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

She leaves to mourn, three sons, Christopher, Earnest and William. The services at the grave were given by S. M. Stalnaker, who spoke with the greatest kindness and sympathy to the bereaved family and friends, after which she was laid to rest.
