Elkader Register, Thur., 11 Feb. 1904. McGregor column.

Mrs. Owen Boyle died Monday, leaving husband, four sons and a daughter. She has been a resident of McGregor since the 60s. The infant child* of her son Robert, was buried the day she died.

Note - the infant grandson was Robert Own Boyle. His obit has been posted on this board

Mrs. Owen Boyle died at her home on Garnavillo street Monday, Feb. 8th, 1904.

Elizabeth Sapp was born in Shelby, Ill., Feb. 5th, 1843. She was married to Mr. Owen Boyle June 28th, 1860.

Mrs. Boyle was the mother of nine children, three of whom died in infancy. Her husband and six children, Milo, Henry, Mary, Lee, Owen and Robert are left to mourn her loss.

The funeral was held this morning, Rev. D.C. Dutton officiating.

The family wish to thank the friends who have so kindly aided them in this hour of affliction.
