The remains of Mrs. Gage, of Grundy Center, were brought here Monday for interment. She was a daughter of James Markham and had many friends here. The funeral was held Wednesday, Rev. Minogue officiating.

The remains of Mrs. D. Z. Gage, of Grundy Center, Iowa, were brought here for interment. She was a daughter of James Markham and wife, and formerly lived here, having a wide circle of friends in this locality.
About three years ago she was married to D. Z. Gage at West Union and they lived at Volga City a short time, moving from there to Waterloo and later to Grundy Center, where her death occurred last Sunday.
An infant boy born during her illness returned with her to that other world.
She leaves besides her husband a babe fifteen months old.
The funeral was held Wednesday, Rev. Minogue officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery.
Among those present from away were Doctors Krouse and Thealin and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Scovel, of Grundy Center, and A. Gage, of Volga City.
