Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Jan. 1904. Strawberry Point column.

The death of Mrs. Donath occurred at the home of her son Frank near Lamont, last Sunday evening. Her husband preceded her to the great beyond in June 1903. She leaves two children, Frank and Mrs. E. Schoeppe, besides relatives to mourn the death of a kind mother and friend. The funeral occurred Tuesday at this place at the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Baumbach, of Lamont. The remains were laid to rest beside her husband and two children in our local cemetery.
