Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Oct. 1902. Bailey Ridge column.

The death of Mrs. Voshell Monday morning was a great shock to the community. The funeral which took place Tuesday was largely attended. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family in their great sorrow.

(Note: WPA records show Martha A. Voshell, 1869 - 20 Oct. 1902, buried in Hill Crest cemetery.)
