Mrs. Louisa F. Harrington.

Mrs. Louisa F. Hall - Harrington was born at Middleton, Conn., April 10, 1822, afterward moved with her parents to West Troy, N.Y. From there she and three brothers and a sister settled in Jefferson county, N.Y., where she was married to Horace A. Harrington, who in company came west and settled in Farmersburg, Clayton Co., Iowa, in 1856, then became residents of Grand Meadow from 1866 to 1888, at which time she was left a widow. She afterward lived with her son, brother and sister, until her health and mind failed, to which she succumbed Oct. 4, 1902, being 80 years and 5 months of age.

She became a Christian at the age of 18, and joined the Baptist church at Adams Center, N.Y. After coming to Iowa she was for a time connected with the church at McGregor. When the Grand Meadow church was organized and she was one of its most faithful members. An only son, D. E. Harrington, three brothers - Asa P. Hall, of Algona, Iowa; Cyrus F. Hall, of Greenwood, Neb.; E. P. Hall, of Ventura, Cal., and a sister, Mrs. Sam'l Benjamin, of Algona, Iowa, survive her. A brother - Adam Hall, the oldest of the family and a well known resident of Clayton county, died at Philadelphia, Pa., two years previous. Peace to her ashes.

The funeral was held from the Congregational church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, and was largely attended by sympathizing friends. Interment in Postville cemetery.- Review.
