Elkader Register, Thur., 31 July 1902. Elkport and Vicinity column,

The infant child of John Purman and wife died Friday afternoon. The parents have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.

-Clayton County Record of Death, Vol. A, pg 26 records the death of 1 y/o Raymond W. Purman on July 20, 1902. Burial Elk twp.

-Burial records in Mt. Harmony cemetery give DOB as 1900.
