Frank Weber, 17 years old, a son of Conrad Weber, who resides on Turkey River near Elkport, while assisting his father in getting a raft to shore, and while in the act of throwing a line to his father, stepped too near the edge of the bank which gave way from under him. The place where he went down was quite deep and the river a raging torrent on account of the late storm. The body had not been recovered up to Tuesday evening.- Guttenberg Press.

It was reported that the body of Frank Weber who was drowned at Elkport some days ago, was found at Cassville last Friday, but the report was without foundation. -Guttenberg Press____________
