Elkader Register, Thur., 01 May 1902. Volga City column.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Drucker mourn the loss of their beloved son Henry, who died Wednesday morning at nine o'clock, at the age of 21 years. Henry was taken down about a week ago with the measles which went back and developed into pneumonia. When he heard of the death of his good friend, Fred Preuss, he grew worse and died just twenty three hours later. So ends the life of two of Volga's popular young men. Henry was a good boy and was a hard working young man and a friend to all who knew him. It is with sadness that everyone speaks of the death of these young men.
