—Andrew Tujetsch, a resident of Boardman township, Clayton Co. since 1860 died on the 24th ult. at the advanced age of 84 years.
Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born in 1811; however, it shows he died March 25. He is buried in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Elkader.

Sunday evening, at the home of his son Thomas, in this township, Andrew Tujetsch passed from life at the advanced age of 84 years. Mr. Tujetsch was born in 1811 in Switzerland, and in 1858 came to this township on a tour of inspection. He returned to the old country in 1859, and in 1860 came back with his family, residing here to the time of his death. His wife died some ten years ago. Three sons, Thomas, John and Christ, and one daughter, Mrs. Anton Hook, survive him.
The funeral was held Tuesday morning, Rev. Fathers Rowe, of Strawberry Point, and Hogan, of Monona, assisting Rev. Father Reilly in celebrating the solemn services of the church. May he rest in peace.
