Axtell, Fern died 1902

Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Mar. 1902. Strawberry Point column.

Vern*, the oldest son of Herman Axtell and wife, died at his home Thursday. Interment took place Saturday in the local cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of all in their hour of trouble. They have three children in bed with the measles.
