Elkader Register, Thur., 06 Mar. 1902. Volga City Views column.

Chas. Peake and wife mourn the loss of their baby who died Thursday. The funeral was held here Saturday. We extend our sympathy.

Elkader Register, Thur., 13 Mar. 1902. Volga City Views column.

On the 26th ult., occurred the death of Clarence M. son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. M. Peake, after a short illness. The little one was born Jan. 9th, 1901, and in its short life had given joy to the hearts of his parents who mourn the loss of their darling. The funeral was held at Volga, on March 1st, Rev. D. C. Perry officiating.
