Last Friday evening word went from mouth to mouth that Rose Miller was dead which came as a sad surprise to her many friends as they did not know she had been sick. Rose, youngest child of Mrs. Eliza Miller, was born in this place, March 11th, 1883, making her age 18 years, 11 months and 17 days at the time of her death. A few days ago she was taken sick with a bad cold which changed to the pneumonia. The funeral services were held at the home south-west of town Sunday forenoon, Rev. G. Graff officiating.
