Mrs. Dr. F. Andros, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 4th. She had been in failing health for a number of years.

The wife of the venerable and respected Dr. F. Andros, of McGregor, died at the family residence in that place, on Tuesday evening of last week, from paralysis of the bowels.

For a number of years her health has been impaired - permanent disability doubtless resulting from the injuries received by her in a railroad accident on the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad, near Cambridge, Ohio, some years since.

Her venerable companion is also very low from fatigue. Mrs. A. was one of the pioneer women of the west, having crossed the Mississippi river nearly or quite forty years ago with her husband, who was an army surgeon.

Note: The 1895 obituary of her husband Dr. Frederick Andros names her as Eliza Bunker. Her burial place is unknown, but he is buried in the Lakewood cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
