Elkader Register, Thur., 25 Sept. 1879. Town and County columns.

We are informed that Sever Johnson, of Marion township, died at his home the latter part of last week, and was buried on Monday. He had lived many years in the county, was highly respected by all who knew him. He has suffered for some time with chronic rheumatism and other troubles, and his death was not unexpected. His farm adjoins D. Jacobias' on the south, and is well known, by its stone spring house, by the side of the Postville road.
