Elkader Register, Thur., 10 July 1879. Town and County columns.

Walter Tyler, an old resident of Farmersburg township, died in the county poor house, Tuesday evening. He was 66 years of age, for years has been a slave to the use of opium, and had only recently become an inmate of the poor house.
