Elkader Register, Thur., 29 May 1879.

Died- At her home in Elk township, May 22nd, 1879, of convultions, Emma, wife of Herman Brockmeyer, aged about 21 years.

She leaves a husband and an infant child to mourn her untimely death. She had been married only 13 months. Her remains were buried at Colesburg. The funeral was largely attended.
