Elkader Register, Fri., 17 Sept. 1897. Garnavillo column.

The infant of Mr. and Mrs. T. Konig, of Clayton twp. died Friday of spinal meningitis, and was buried at this place on Saturday, Rev. T. Sommerlad officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Konig have our sincere sympathy in their hour of affliction.
