Mrs. Annie Riniker, the widow of the late Jacob Riniker, died at her home in North Buena Vista, Clayton county, Sept. 16th, at 6 a.m., aged 71 years and 6 days.
Deceased was born in Canton Aargua, Switzerland, Sept. 7, 1828. In 1849 she married Jacob Riniker and emigrated to America in 1854.
She leaves eight children to mourn her loss, two sons and six daughters, Jacob, John, Mrs. J. M. Potter, and Mrs. John Roe, of Buena Vista: Mrs. J. A. Heckmann and Mrs. Marion Graybill, of this city, Mrs. Wm. Lorang, of Minnesota, and Mrs. A. Lewis, of New York City.
The funeral was held at North Buena Vista, Sunday at 3 p.m. The services were conducted by Rev. Coleman, of Cassville. The deceased was a lady of noble character. She was a true wife and a loving mother and good neighbor. She will be sincerely missed.= Dubuque Telegraph.
