Elkader Register, Thur., 20 July 1899. McGregor column.

Mrs. Reed died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. C. Boyle, Saturday, at an advanced age. Her daughter, Miss Agnes Reed, lived with her.

Ann Reid is buried in the Osage, Mitchell co. IA cemetery, as is her husband William (died 1896). Mrs. A.C. Boyle (Alonzo C.) is nee Isabelle Reid. Isabelle's death certificate names her parents as William & Ann (Houps) Reid. Isabelle & Alonzo are buried in Pleasant Grove cemetery, McGregor.
