Mrs. Fanny Bagby, aged 86 years, died Friday morning of old age. Mrs. Bagby settled in Elk twp. many years ago and was and favorably known. Thee funeral took place Saturday and was well attended.

Mrs. Fanny Bagby who died June 29, 1899, was born in Mississippi territory, Madison county, Ala., April 13, 1813, being 86 years, 2 months and 16 days old at her demise. She united with the church at the age of 13, and has been a faithful member ever since. She was married in 1830 to David Bagby in Haywood county, Tenn. She leaves five daughters and two sons and 30 grandchildren who mourn her departure. Her husband, a son and two daughters have preceded her to that bourne from which no traveler 'ere returns.
