At about midnight Friday, March 17th, 1899, the angel of death bore from earth the spirit of Grace Elizabeth, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Schroeder, who for several weeks has been a little sufferer. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. A. B. Fickle. The family has been sorely afflicted by sickness the past few months, and the youngest is taken by Him who is making up His jewels. The sympathy of the community goes out to the bereaved parents. Little Grace was (born) Jan. 13th, 1898, and was 14 months and 4 days old.
