Elkader Register, Thur., 23 Mar. 1899. Farmersburg column.

Died, at Cedar Falls, Iowa, at the home of her aunt, S. A. McAlvin, Saturday morning, March 18th, Jennie McAlvin aged 49 years. Funeral services were held at that place Sunday and her remains were brought here Monday and laid to rest in the Farmersburg Cemetery. They were accompanied by G. W. Russell, of Independence, and her sister Miss Nellie McAlvin, of Cedar Falls. Their many friends here sympathize with the family in their bereavement.
