Elkader Register, Thur., 16 Feb. 1899. Strawberry Point column.

DIED- Last Monday morning at her home, Mrs. Wm. Gleason. She leaves a husband and three children, three brothers, three sisters and a father, her mother preceded her about three weeks ago. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church last Tuesday conducted by a German minister of Dubuque.

(Note: WPA records indicate Barbara M. Gleason, 1862 - 12 Feb. 1899, buried in Strawberry Point cemetery.)
