Clayton County Register, Thur., 24 Oct. 1929.

Joseph P., eight-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cassutt, died here at six-thirty Tuesday morning as a result of an accident two weeks ago, when the little fellow was run over by a gravel truck, operated by one of the men em- (next several words blurred).

Following the accident two weeks ago Joseph was brought to the Moran hospital. several times during the past two weeks doctors had given the youngster up but he rallied after each sinking spell; until Tuesday morning, when death relieved his suffering body.

All that was possible was done to relieve Joseph, since the accident. Specialists were called in to consult on the case but the little body was not strong enough to withstand the injuries and shock.

The family has the sincere sympathy of the entire community in this sad death. Funeral services are being held this morning in St. Joseph's church, and interment will be made in St. Joseph's cemetery.
