—William L. Henderson, one of the three brothers that made "Henderson prairie” just south of Postville, celebrated some 35 years ago, died at Riceville on the 19th and was buried at Postville on the 22d. He was born in Scotland in 1833; came to the U. S. a lad with his parents, and to Postville in 1850. He was a member of Co. C., 12th Iowa Infantry.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born March 28, 1833 and is buried in the Postville Cemetery.
