Elkader Register, Thur., 17 Sept. 1925.

Margaret Cameron was born on the Cameron farm about one mile south of Elkader, April __ (looks like 15, 16 or 18), 1890, and died in the Katy hospital at Denison, Texas, Tuesday morning, August 25, 1925, having reached the age of 35 years, 4 months and 9 days.

She was united in marriage to Richard Wadsack, Nov. 23, 1907, by Rev. Lenhart at Elkader. To this happy union were born four children, one child, a daughter, died in infancy.

Mr. and Mrs. Wadsack made Elkader their home until about ten years ago, when they moved to Denison, Texas, where Mr. Wadsack was employed by the M.K. & T Railroad as signal tower operator, at Frisco Junction. Mr. Wadsack was killed in a motor car accident, Nov. 4th, 1924.

While Mrs. Wadsack never recovered entirely from the shock of his death her condition was not considered serious. She was operated on Monday morning, Aug. 24th, for trouble that was thought to be a minor ailment but which proved to be cancer and she died the following morning.

Mrs. Wadsack was a member of the Calvary Baptist of Denison, having been baptized and received into the church about three months ago. She leaves to mourn her loss her three children, Mrs. Rita Measels, Gerald and Melva Wadsack, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Cameron, of Elkader, one brother, Guy Cameron, of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Lyman McCormick and Mrs. Willis Smith of Fenton, Michigan, and her twin sister, Mrs. Chas Wilson of Elkader.

Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. R. B. Long, who also officiated at the funerals of her husband and infant daughter, Burial was made in the Fairview cemetery, Aug. 27th, and she was laid to rest beside her loved ones. The large floral offerings and attendance bore witness to the high esteem in which Mrs. Wadsack was held by neighbors and friends.
