Elkader Register, Thur., 28 May 1925. Volga column.

Miss Kate Martin passed away Thursday. She had been in failing health for some time. She had a stroke a few days before she passed away. Miss Martin has lived in our midst for twenty-one years. She made many friends and will be greatly missed. Her funeral was held at the Sacred Heart church Saturday morning and the remains were taken to Cedar Falls for interment.
