Messages received here yesterday by relatives told of the death of Harry Lemka at the state hospital at Woodward, Iowa, yesterday morning. Mr. Lemka had reached the age of 41 years, 11 months and 19 days. He has been in poor heath for many years.

Harry William Martin Lemka, son of Mrs. Louise Lemka of this place was born April 12, 1883, on the home farm in Boardman township; here he grew to manhood, attended the rural schools and for several years the Elkader Public schools.

Harry is survived by his mother, Mrs. Louise Lemka, one brother, Ray C. Lemka, one sister, Mrs. George Hubbard on the home farm, besides many other relatives and friends.

The body arrived here this afternoon and was taken to the home of his mother from where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon, April 4th 1:30 p.m. at the home and 2:00 o'clock at the Evangelical church. Rev. Franke will officiate. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.
