Elkader Register, Thur., 1925.

Asa G. Kriebs, a prominent merchant at Elkport, passed away at his home Sunday March 22nd, at the are of 44 years.

He was born and raised at Elkport and engaged in the mercantile business there for a number of years. For a number of years he was postmaster at Elkport.

He is survived by his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kriebs at Elkport, two brothers, Frank of Beresford, South Dakota, and Harold of Elkport, one sister, Mrs. Vera Younkman, besides many friends and relatives who mourn his early passing.

Funeral services were held at Elkport yesterday with interment in Mt. Harmony cemetery.
